About this role
Do you want to make a real difference for students who need extra support to reach their full potential? We are now seeking special education teachers and specialized learning support teachers who want to contribute to creating an accessible learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
As a special education teacher or specialized learning support teacher, you are a key person in school development. You support students, educators, and teams by identifying needs, planning interventions, and proposing strategies that strengthen teaching. With your expertise, you contribute to ensuring each student has the right conditions to grow – both academically and as an individual.
YOUR ROLE
As a special education teacher or specialized learning support teacher, you work closely with students and colleagues to create a learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. You conduct investigations and analyses to identify needs and plan interventions that support student development. Together with school staff, you develop and follow up action plans and provide advice and guidance to teams and individual educators. By proposing methods, tools, and approaches that meet different needs, you become a central resource in the school's work on inclusion, equity, and compensatory measures – always with the student's best interests at the forefront.
YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE
We are seeking candidates with a special education teaching degree and teacher certification, or those trained as specialized learning support teachers with certification. Those nearing the end of their special education or specialized learning support training are also warmly invited to apply.
You have good knowledge of Swedish and English and thrive in a role where collaboration and relationship-building are central. To succeed, you need to be self-motivated, solution-oriented, and see opportunities in each student's individual development.
To work within Education and Labor market services, you must submit an extract from the criminal record register. You can order this extract for schools and childcare from the Police (https://polisen.se/). It is valid for one year and must be renewed thereafter.
