Your Work Responsibilities Your work focuses on health-promoting and preventive interventions. You will start from a strengths-based perspective, working solution-oriented and relationally. Together with principals and educators, you will promote all children's safety, development, and learning. You will be part of a team with diverse competencies. Our central child and student health team consists of special education teachers, speech therapists, social workers, ICT pedagogues, and psychologists. Together, we work to ensure all children and students develop towards established goals. We drive and develop child and student health issues in the municipality, promoting a salutogenic and inclusive approach. Your responsibilities as a special education teacher in preschool include: - Working in preschool teams across municipal preschools - Mentoring principals and preschool educators - Training and lectures - Collaboration with other actors such as habilitation, social services, and others Your Competence We are seeking a special education teacher with a primary preschool teacher qualification and good knowledge and experience working in preschools. Knowledge of children's speech and language development is meritorious. We prefer candidates with experience in mentoring and delivering lectures and training to highlight health-promoting perspectives. You should have excellent collaboration skills, be attentive, and able to understand others' perspectives. You need to be self-confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is important that you are flexible to meet the organization's special education needs. You should have strong pedagogical knowledge and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation impact yourself and others. Additional Information The position requires a B driver's license as travel to preschools throughout the municipality is part of the work. Manual transmission driving is necessary.
