We are now seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for our school in Hässleholm With us, you'll have the opportunity to explore the world while staying at home. IES Hässleholm is a school for preschool through 9th grade with approximately 360 students. Working at our school means being part of a professional community and collaborative environment. Our Student Health Care Team (SHCT) includes the principal, deputy principals, a full-time school nurse, school psychologist, full-time counselor, special education teacher, and learning support specialist. Job Description You will work with students, support and guide teachers in adapting learning environments and implementing additional support measures. You will be responsible for leading the mapping process and writing action plans. Your assignment includes developing learning environments, adapting teaching materials for students, applying for supplementary funding, organizing systematic work, analyzing results, and implementing development plans. You are a clear and confident leader with a focus on student goal achievement. Additionally, you have a low-affective approach from a differentiated teaching perspective and want to meet students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. Who are you? - You are a qualified Special Education Teacher with experience working with preschool to 9th grade - It is meritorious if you have primary school teacher education and are familiar with the Swedish National Agency for Education's governing documents - You have knowledge of and share Internationella Engelska Skolan's values and ethos - You are passionate about development and a collegial working method We look forward to your application through IES Careers and hope you want to become part of our team.
