The adapted primary school in Alingsås consists of two units: grades 1-6 at the newly built Noltorpsskolan and grades 7-9 at Nolhagaskolan, which is centrally located in Nolhagaparken, with access to both a sports hall, ice rink, swimming pool, and nature. As a special educator for the adapted primary school in Alingsås, you will follow the students' academic development from grades 1 to 9 and contribute to a smooth transition between stages. JOB DESCRIPTION As a special educator in the adapted primary school, you are responsible for pedagogical mapping and guidance of staff. You are an important part of the student health teams in the units and actively participate in student health meetings. In this role, you have a central function in the schools' development work alongside school management and lead teachers. Together with educators, you are involved in designing, following up, and developing action plans to ensure that each student receives the right support. QUALIFICATIONS The requirements for the position are that you are a qualified special educator or special teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities and that you have experience working with students with intellectual disabilities. As a person, you are solution-focused and view collaboration with the student health team and educators as a natural part of your role. You have a salutogenic approach and work proactively and preventively with the student's learning environment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
