We are now seeking you, special education teacher, who wants to work in a committed and comprehensive student health team consisting of school management, two special education teachers, two specialized teachers, school nurse, counselor, school doctor, and school psychologist. Alléskolan was built in 2011, so you will work in a school with beautiful, bright, and airy facilities and a large schoolyard. Habo Municipality is located 15 minutes from Jönköping, with good commuting options. Habo is one of the country's leading growth regions. Habo offers everything from a vibrant center to proximity to forests, nature, and wonderful beaches on Sweden's second-largest lake. DUTIES You will be an important part of the school's student health work and collaborate with various school professionals. Together with colleagues, you will work to develop promotional and preventive student health efforts in close cooperation with school leadership. Your assignment includes promotional, preventive, and remedial work. The latter involves conducting investigations about the need for special support and working closely with educators on documentation, such as action plans and support programs. The role includes resource-strengthening work at group and organizational levels, including student-near work and collegial guidance for individuals and teams. The position is focused on grades F-3, and you will have a close colleague who is a special education teacher specializing in grades 4-6. QUALIFICATIONS We want you to be a trained and preferably experienced special education teacher with great commitment to creating accessible and developmental learning environments for all students. You should have a teaching certification and teaching experience. You are well-versed in school policy documents and have good knowledge of students' academic and social development. We are seeking a competent and committed colleague with students' best interests in focus. It is important that you can create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should have a solution-focused approach, be positive, and spread workplace joy. You are a good colleague, initiative-taking, have strong organizational skills, and are driven in pedagogical work.
