Job Description As a Special Education Teacher, you are part of and support our preventive and health-promoting work. You work by providing professional support to educators working with students in need of support. You work independently and are responsible for assessments, observations, guidance for educators, classroom observations, etc. You are a clear support in school leadership's student health work and can be involved in school development processes. You work on assignment from the principal and are a representative in the school's student health team. You collaborate with all functions in the student health team and especially with our other Special Education Teacher. Together, you shape the special education work. Position is an 80-100% permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Qualifications We are seeking someone with teaching certification for grades F-3 and a master's degree in Special Education. You should have a genuine interest in developing your own profession and driving progress forward. You are expected to have excellent leadership skills. You also have a very good ability to communicate and create positive, sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. We expect you to be proactive in collaborative learning. You should be well-versed in formative approaches, cooperative learning, and have high digital competence. You have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing. We place great importance on personal suitability. Bladins School is an independent school with a long history, consisting of preschool, primary school, international school, and high school with over 1,600 students in total. At Bladins Primary School, approximately 840 students attend. Each grade consists of about 84 students divided into three groups. At our school, every student is seen, and we nurture our daily interactions with students where we are clear adult role models. We work purposefully to help our students develop and feel secure with multiple adults. The school is located in premises at Själlandstorget in central Malmö.
