Härneviskolan is a primary school for grades F-6 with about 425 students. The school is located in the old part of Bro in a calm environment with a beautiful and challenging playground. We are now seeking a licensed teacher/special educator with experience working in a special education group and with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF). The role involves being part of the school's resource team and working to create adapted and meaningful instruction for students that challenges, stimulates, and ignites a desire to learn. An important aspect is the ability to capture and build upon the students' individual needs, interests, and experiences in the design of the adapted instruction. At our school, we strive to create safety, enthusiasm, and curiosity for learning among students. We believe that all students can and want to learn, and it is we, the educators, who create the conditions for this. We are looking for someone who: - Is a licensed teacher for grades F-3 or grades 4-6 - Holds special educator/special pedagogy qualifications - Has experience working with students in need of special support and adaptations - Has experience with students with NPF - Understands that structure creates clarity - Sees possibilities instead of obstacles - Has strong communication skills We hope that you, as an applicant, have a strong commitment to students with special needs, view collaboration as essential for development, and possess a good ability to plan and implement teaching according to our governing documents. About the position The position is a temporary assignment for a teacher on parental leave in one of the school's special education groups. The temporary position extends over 12 months with the possibility of extension. Employment can start as soon as possible or as agreed.
