About this role

In the archipelago city of Oxelösund, you'll be close to housing, work, communication, services, nature, and the sea. The municipality, strategically located in eastern Sörmland, has 12,000 inhabitants and a rich cultural and community life. Just over an hour from Stockholm and slightly less than an hour from Norrköping, it's also not far from the region's airport, E4 highway, and railway. Oxelösunds Municipality is a small municipality with big ambitions. We are curious and dare to find new solutions, think big thoughts, and come up with exciting ideas. To succeed, we work closely together. We collaborate and work towards a common goal: to provide the best conditions for a good life for everyone who lives here. Our proximity to each other is evident in how we help each other and leverage each other's strengths. The closeness between departments and operations also means that there is never much distance between employees and management. This, in turn, leads to short decision-making paths and high productivity. Peterslunds School is a preschool-6th grade school with adaptations up to 9th grade. The school has an integrated after-school program and a newly started outdoor after-school program. Located in a typical villa area on the outskirts of Oxelösund, the school has approximately 400 students. The school is surrounded by a large schoolyard with asphalt areas, ball courts, and a multi-purpose court, with proximity to wooded areas. The school is built on one level and has 14 classrooms with associated study halls and common facilities such as craft rooms, an open library in a shared space, and a gymnasium. The after-school activities are integrated into the school premises, with different departments having their home base adjacent to the classrooms. We know that development occurs through interaction and collaboration with others. A collaboration that, in turn, helps students train for increased independence and self-confidence.
