Your New Job
As a special education teacher or teacher at our adapted upper secondary school, you will primarily work with teaching and related tasks. You will serve as a responsible mentor in a team consisting of various professional roles, where you will all work together around the students during their school day.

Your Qualifications
We are primarily seeking someone who is a qualified special education teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities or a certified teacher. It is advantageous if you are qualified and/or have experience teaching music and other artistic subjects. You have knowledge and experience in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), including sign-supported communication (TAKK), as well as knowledge and experience with students with various disabilities. It is desirable if you have knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders/autism and experience from adapted schools (formerly special schools).
Basic IT skills are a requirement, and you use ICT as a natural part of your teaching. We place great importance on taking responsibility for relevant professional development to grow and want to develop together with others in the profession. Personal suitability is of great significance.
