Gudmundrå School is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 350 students. We are centrally located in Kramfors with good transport connections. Our school works towards safety, a conducive learning environment, and high expectations for students, where engagement and belief in the future are important values. Systematic quality work is a foundation for increased goal fulfillment, where our main processes permeate the operations, including development discussions, teaching, and reception processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special teacher or special educator, you play a very important role and function at our school, where you are part of our student health team. You plan and implement promoting and preventive student health work together with the student health team.
In your daily work, you will work with students in need of special support and other needs.
You will guide educators, build trusting relationships with staff, students, and guardians, and coordinate efforts necessary for our students to have optimal conditions for development.
The work also involves a constant focus on assessing, investigating, and mapping students' needs in close collaboration with other teachers to provide each student with the best possible conditions.
Identify, assess, and investigate students' needs for support and adaptations.
You will implement support measures both at the individual and group levels.
You will actively participate in the development of the school's pedagogical work and organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree as a special teacher or special educator.
As a person, you need to have strong collaboration skills, the ability to analyze, and find suitable structures. The position also requires you to work independently as well as collaboratively towards set goals. Engagement, solution focus, and innovative thinking are qualities we value.
You demonstrate skill in identifying and communicating development needs at the individual, group, and organizational levels, and can work both reactively and proactively. You have a good ability to analyze and identify support needs and can translate this into pedagogical interventions and action programs.
As a person, you are confident, attentive, and have good collaboration skills. You can work independently and in a structured manner while also having a strong ability to cooperate with students, colleagues, and guardians. We place great importance on personal suitability.
