Sexdrega School and Hillared School constitute the municipality's northern school area with approximately 210 students and around 25 employees.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now seeking an engaged and experienced special education teacher for Sexdrega and Hillared Schools in Svenljunga Municipality. Here, you will work together with other staff to drive pedagogical efforts, contributing to creating a safe, inclusive, and developing school environment for our students.
As a special education teacher with us, you will work both strategically and operationally to promote student learning and development. You always focus on the student's perspective and are a key person in our fantastic schools' student health work.
You will:
• Guide and support teachers and other staff in daily work with students needing special support
• Conduct classroom observations
• Contribute pedagogical assessments
• Ensure that action plans are established in collaboration with mentors
• Analyze screening results to identify needs for adaptations and interventions
• Work with students, both individually and in groups, focusing on preventive, promotional, and corrective measures
• Contribute to developing school routines, structures, and accessible learning environments
• Maintain contact with guardians and external actors
• Document according to current routines in the PMO system
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a licensed special education teacher with experience in primary school
• Has good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently
• Is confident in their professional role
• Has a solution-focused approach
• Creates trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Has strong commitment to each student's right to learn and develop
• Has interest and ability to work both strategically at the organizational level and directly with students in daily work
