About the Role and Your Responsibilities
As a Special Education Teacher, you will closely collaborate with your colleagues to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
You will be part of the school's student health team and contribute specialized pedagogical expertise. As a special education teacher with us, you will participate in analyzing the school's results, mapping, following up, and analyzing students' knowledge development. You will lead work on pedagogical investigations, action programs, follow-ups, and be responsible for applying for extraordinary support in collaboration with work teams, guardians, students, and the student health team. You will also collaborate with educators on implementing additional adaptations.
In your role as a special education teacher, you will teach students who need special support and work proactively to promote their learning and development. You will be involved and engaged in student health meetings, student conferences, and team meetings. As a special education teacher, you will also participate in the systematic quality work together with the principal and development group.
We Are Looking for You
We seek a licensed primary school teacher with a special education degree and experience teaching grades 4-6. It is meritorious if you are qualified to teach Swedish as a second language (SVA). You should have good insight and knowledge of school governance documents and can pedagogically apply these in your daily work.
We are looking for someone with strong drive who works equally well independently and collaboratively. To succeed in the special education teacher role, we expect you to be engaged, attentive, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

About the Workplace
Hagalundskolan is a single-track municipal school with approximately 185 students. We offer preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, and after-school activities. The school is located in Dalby, beautifully situated near Dalby Söderskog, approximately 10 kilometers east of Lund.
