The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school centers, pre-school class, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, adapted high school, municipal adult education, adult special education, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth center, and cultural school.
Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, with geographic distribution throughout the municipality.
Altorpskolan, the municipality's only 7-9 school, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Kunskapskällan, the municipal high school, is also located in Herrljunga town.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching position in adapted primary school, grades 6-9, at Altorpskolan.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a licensed teacher for teaching in adapted primary school.
As a teacher, you are engaged and a clear leader in the classroom. You are structured, flexible, and see collaboration as a natural prerequisite for organizational development. You have experience organizing accessible learning environments.
We want someone who always takes the student's perspective and upholds the curriculum's core values. You are expected to be well-versed in current governing documents and open to collaboration. You see digital tools as natural aids and an integral part of teaching. A positive approach is important to us, and we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
We prefer candidates with a special education teaching degree with qualification in adapted primary school, but we also welcome other applicants with broad subject qualifications and extensive teaching experience.
