At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, approximately 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, high school, adult education, and central administration. Tallbohov School has 400 students in grades F-6. The schools are multicultural, and many families are bilingual or multilingual. The organization also includes a municipal resource school and adapted primary school.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work in our special education group for our youngest students, who, for various reasons, need a smaller context.
You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the students' needs. The teaching is characterized by clear structures and adaptations that provide students with the best possible conditions for both academic and social development, in collaboration with staff from the after-school program and the student health team.
You are responsible for documenting the students' academic progress. You collaborate with other teachers, staff from the after-school program, teachers in practical and aesthetic subjects, the student health team, and school management.
You will maintain continuous contact with guardians in collaboration with staff from the after-school program and the student health team.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are an educated and licensed special education teacher or an educated and licensed teacher for grades F-6.
You have prior experience working in a special education group and knowledge or training in neuropsychiatric functional variations (NPF) as well as alternative communication methods such as TAKK and visual support.
You are confident and responsible in your leadership role and create conditions for learning through structure and clarity. You are flexible in your teaching and plan it for students at different levels.
You enjoy collaborating and are skilled at building good relationships with both children and adults. You find it easy to remain calm in challenging situations where a solution-focused approach is required. Collaboration with others in the team around the students is very important, and together you work to promote the students' learning and development based on applicable governing documents.
You understand, speak, and write fluent Swedish.
