Job Responsibilities
Warm welcome to Lindängeskolan!
You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation of support measures for grades 7–9, contributing to creating a stimulating and motivating educational environment based on the curriculum and other governing documents for students with support needs. You will be part of the student health team alongside 4 special educators, 4 special teachers, and 1 speech therapist, providing support to students in class, in smaller groups, or individually based on what best promotes their overall development. You will collaborate with mentors, teaching staff, special educators, and school management in your role to ensure that the interventions have the greatest impact. Thus, you are responsible for promoting student development and learning, as well as finding strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in their knowledge development.
The role also includes documentation and the implementation of certain assessments and/or investigations, as well as other specific tasks.
Qualifications
You who are applying should be a licensed special teacher with a focus on Swedish/Swedish as a second language. Previous experience working as a special teacher is considered an advantage.
You have a good understanding of the school’s governing documents and can apply them in daily work. You are creative and adapt your approach and pedagogical methods based on the needs and conditions of the student group and individual students. Through your work, you develop the educational environment into an inspiring and challenging space. Furthermore, you possess strong analytical, didactic, and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work so that your efforts effectively enhance student learning.
Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you systematically engage in learning through various methods and relevant digital tools. We expect you to view each student from a holistic perspective and maintain a positive view of students. You collaborate for participation and create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
