Sandvalla School is a preschool to 6th grade school located 2.5 km north of central Hudiksvall, with approximately 40 employees and 300 students. We have two after-school programs divided into older and younger children.

As a special education teacher specializing in reading and writing instruction, you will become a key person in our work of giving all students the best possible linguistic start.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individually adapted reading and writing instruction.
- Work with early interventions to identify and support students needing linguistic support.
- Manage the school's mapping plan for reading and writing development and ensure it is followed and updated.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and be part of the student health team to create a holistic view of each student's needs.
- Assess students' reading and writing development and track and document their progression.
- Contribute to a language-developing approach throughout the school.
Your Profile
We are seeking someone who:
- Is a certified special education teacher specializing in language, reading, and writing development.
- Has strong knowledge of reading and writing development and experience working with various pedagogical tools and methods.
- Has experience and interest in managing and developing mapping plans.
- Has a positive, solution-focused approach and a strong desire to support student learning.
- Enjoys collaboration and sees the value of teamwork.
- Is flexible, curious, and highly committed to each student's potential to succeed.
