About the School Rudolf Steiner School in Gothenburg has been established for over 50 years and is located on a hill with a view of the city, surrounded by a large natural area. Today, the school has 230 students in grades F-9. About the Job - Work closely with classroom teachers and other specialists to ensure that all students receive the support they need - Assess students' needs and write action plans - Provide individual instruction to students - Guide working teams and individual teachers - Be a part of our student support team at the school - Create a positive and safe atmosphere that encourages learning and personal development About You You have documented experience in developing action plans and conducting educational assessments, as well as good knowledge of and practical experience working with students who have reading and writing difficulties or challenges in mathematics. We also expect you to have knowledge of and experience with language development approaches, and to be driven by the desire to create conditions for all students to reach their full potential. You maintain a professional demeanor in interactions with students, colleagues, and guardians, and have a good understanding of people's diverse circumstances. You are collaborative and able to build strong working relationships with a coaching and guiding approach. As a person, you are solution-oriented. You see opportunities and always lead challenges and problems towards solutions. You have an entirely positive attitude. Qualifications: You have a relevant educational background and certification as a special education teacher. Experience with support conversations for students is also an asset.
