Then the role of Specialist Nursing Assistant at Höjden could be the next step for you. YOUR ROLE As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you will become an important part of our team. Approximately half of your work time will be dedicated to tasks central to your role. The exact scope may vary over time based on organizational needs. You will work weekends and evenings, but to a lesser extent than other nursing assistants. In your role, you will provide support to individuals in the areas of cognitive decline, psychiatry, and palliative care. You will introduce, mentor, and train colleagues in these areas. You will drive quality work, be responsible for the BPSD registry, and serve as a contact representative for palliative care. Additionally, you will contribute to developing and inspiring activities that make everyday life safe and meaningful for individuals. As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you will also be part of a network where you share experiences, create opportunities for new knowledge, and inspire each other to stay updated. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE We are seeking a Specialist Nursing Assistant with a focus on psychiatry, palliative care, cognitive diseases, or elderly care. Experience working with individuals with cognitive diseases is considered an extra strength. To thrive in this role, we believe you are an empathetic and secure person who enjoys collaboration. You easily recognize others' needs, can plan and structure your work, while remaining flexible when the situation requires it. Inspiring and supporting colleagues comes naturally to you – and you enjoy staying updated in your field. You need to have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, and sufficient physical capabilities to handle the practical aspects of the job. Knowledge of Finnish, Sami, or sign language is meritorious.
