About Kvarnbacken
Kvarnbacken is a nursing home with 45 places located in Tannefors/Linköping near Stångån, featuring fantastic walking paths along the river and the sluice. The residence includes an award-winning garden. The Linden and Björken departments also have a large shared balcony to enjoy when the weather is at its best.
• We are looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. No weekends.
• You will have a team leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!
Your task is to enhance quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret their needs. At the same time, you learn a great deal about care, aging, and how to interact with people.
“It’s primarily about meeting people, being able to adapt and understand what they need. You will have colleagues and learn a lot about collaboration! There are often many fun activities and outings. It’s a job filled with laughter.” Jirapinya Muangsiri
You are closest to the residents and thus play a key role in the team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.
With the heart in the right place
With us, you will work in a strong culture driven by our vision: We make the world a little better, one person at a time. It is extremely important that you share our vision and our four values:
Respect: Everyone has the right to a dignified life with physical, mental, and social well-being.
Responsibility: We have employees who dare and want to, and managers who listen and lead.
Simplicity: It is easy to influence and to be an employee or customer with us.
Knowledge: We reflect, learn from each other, and utilize everyone's expertise.
Together, we continuously work to ensure that our values permeate our interactions, both with each other and with all who live with us.
“There are good and clear values and goals that have guided me all the way to perform my work in the best way.” Raquel Castaneda
Your experience and knowledge
You are a trained specialist nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are also advantageous. Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
We believe that you:
- Are attracted to a varied job and enjoy meeting people in different situations.
- Are a creative person who dares to think independently and take responsibility.
- Enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.
