About this role
Job Responsibilities
Do you want to help people you meet live a dignified life and experience well-being? Would you like a varied role that contributes to increased quality in care work? We are now seeking new specialist nursing assistants for home care services in Kviberg and Gamlestan/Utby.
As a specialist nursing assistant in home care, you work closely with people and provide support in their daily lives. You perform care work in individuals' own homes. In your role, you motivate and stimulate elderly individuals based on their individual conditions, needs, and wishes. As a specialist nursing assistant, you will provide methodological guidance in close care work, complex care situations, and introduce new colleagues.
Services are approved based on assistance and can vary from personal care, meal support, social activity assistance, certain healthcare tasks, and collaboration with family members and other healthcare actors.
In your work, you are expected to have in-depth knowledge of elderly care, psychiatry, or dementia. Your specialist expertise will contribute to quality-enhancing measures, including guiding and supporting other care personnel.
Job tasks include being a primary care contact, planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work for individuals needing support and help. This also includes performing healthcare and rehabilitation interventions on orders from nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. All social documentation is done digitally. Those who have not previously used the systems used by the City of Gothenburg will receive training. The people we support need assistance during day, evening, and weekend hours. Your work hours will therefore be scheduled.
You will experience many people's life situations, which can be both interesting and challenging. As a specialist nursing assistant in home care, you work independently but also collaboratively with others in shared care work. We operate according to the Social Services Act and the national core values, focusing on individual needs.
