JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Dementia Coordinator, you will have an overarching role as an expert in cognitive disease issues. You will work on: • Offering support and guidance to individuals with cognitive disease and their relatives. • Monitoring the external environment and maintaining updated knowledge on cognitive disease issues, and participating in relevant networks both within the county and nationally. • Coordinating and collaborating with other professionals and activities in the field, and coordinating the municipality's dementia team. • Mentoring and training in cognitive disease-related matters. • Driving development work in dementia care at Lindesberg municipality and monitoring individual rights to interventions. You will be based at Källgården, a specialized care facility focused on cognitive disease. Källgården is just a stone's throw from the bus and train station in central Lindesberg, providing excellent commuting opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS As a Dementia Coordinator, knowledge and several years of work experience in elderly care and cognitive diseases are required. You might have a background, for example, as a specialist nursing assistant in dementia care. To succeed in the assignment, engagement and interest in leading the municipality's dementia team are crucial. The role requires the ability to plan, structure, and execute work both independently and in collaboration with others. You are attentive, establish and maintain good relationships, and have a professional approach. You have a solution-oriented attitude and contribute to finding solutions. Previous experience in mentoring and training staff is meritorious. Driving license B is mandatory. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
