About this role
FolktandvÄrden Stockholm
At FolktandvÄrden Stockholm, we work, research, and focus on the oral health of the region.
Here, you will have the opportunity to take significant steps in your personal development. As you improve, so does the public health of Stockholmers. We call it dentistry with a good purpose.
Are you a specialist in orofacial medicine and want to become part of FolktandvÄrden Stockholm? We are looking for a new colleague for Danderyd Hospital.
Orofacial medicine in Stockholm is available at three major acute hospitals: Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge, Solna, and at Danderyd Hospital. There are also clinics at Stockholm Sjukhem and the Eastman Institute. We currently have a vacant position based at Danderyd Hospital, but there is also the possibility of partial service at one of the other clinics.
The Assignment
We offer you a varied and responsible job with great opportunities to influence daily operations and drive the development of the organization forward. The tasks are diverse and stem from the referrals we receive within the specialty's interface; for example, dental care for inpatients, oral medical investigations, and anesthetic dental care. We also run ST training and specialized training in the subject. The employment will primarily be at Danderyd, but work at another OFM clinic may occur.
Our clinic has a positive team that supports each other through thick and thin. We aim to maintain a sustainable and pleasant work environment. The clinic has experienced colleagues who are passionate about patients with special needs, focusing on good service and high-quality care. Danderyd Hospital has 12 treatment rooms, three of which are anesthetic rooms. We are conveniently located near the subway, and staff parking is available adjacent to the hospital.
Your Background
We are looking for a specialist dentist in orofacial medicine who desires variety and appreciates a flexible working style. You want to develop yourself and also help others grow. You possess a high level of empathy and a willingness to support and guide general dentistry during consultations. You should be resilient under stress and proficient in the Swedish language, expressing yourself well in both speech and writing.
Furthermore, as a person, you are dedicated and positive even in challenging situations while establishing credibility, trust, and influence with our patients. You develop effective, sensible, and feasible solutions to problems and learn from experiences and feedback from your surroundings. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
FolktandvÄrden Stockholm also offers various benefits such as:
- Wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK
- Occupational pension
- Salary exchange for pension
- Extra vacation days for those over 40
- Additional benefits during parental leave
