Are you a creative, dedicated, and solution-oriented nurse who wants to be part of a positive and engaged team? We welcome your application!
The Role of the Nurse
The work includes outpatient duties where you will conduct both individual and team-based patient visits. Together with your colleagues, you will also engage in telephone consultations, medication management, treatment, psychoeducation, and the development of digital processes. Decisions regarding actions and interventions are made in collaboration with the patient and team, based on the best relevant evidence, benefits, and alternatives.
You will collaborate with various professions such as occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, nurses, caregivers, and healthcare administrators. The role also involves communication with the municipality, social insurance agency, and other external partners. This is a permanent, full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.
Your Future Workplace
At the Psychiatric Clinic Höglandet, we have about 190 employees. Part of this is at the Psychiatry House in Eksjö, which houses both outpatient, referral, and assessment units, an emergency department, as well as 24 inpatient beds distributed over two wards. The clinic also has outpatient facilities in Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda. The clinic's resources are allocated to consider both the clinic perspective and regional psychiatric care processes. We participate in the development and implementation of common care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.
At the Nässjö Outpatient Clinic, we currently have 25 staff members, including specialists, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, specialized nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, caregivers, and healthcare administrators.
For us, it is crucial to always keep the patient in focus. We build trust and create good conditions for effective, high-quality specialist psychiatric care through a holistic approach and continuity in the care chain. We recognize the strength of having a range of psychological perspectives (medical, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and systemic), as we believe this is essential for making accurate assessments and providing adequate interventions for our patients. At Nässjö Outpatient Clinic, we actively promote equal treatment, and the unit is currently undergoing a certification for LGBTQI inclusivity. We place particular emphasis on involving all employees in developmental and improvement efforts; we want to harness our diverse competencies and work together. Engaging patients and their families is also essential for success, as is collaboration with neighboring services.
