Specialist Physician at Kramfors Health Center, Region Västernorrland

Within Region Västernorrland, there are three local healthcare areas; south, west, and north, where local collaboration occurs within/between municipalities, primary care, and specialist care. Together, we work to create a cohesive care chain for the growing patient groups of chronic and multi-morbid patients.
Local Healthcare Area West has one hospital, five region-operated health centers, and Lifestyle Medicine Österåsen. Local Healthcare Area West has approximately 300 employees and three operations managers.
We are now seeking a general practitioner. Currently, we are investing in primary care physicians in our area, Local Healthcare Area West. We want more people to choose a permanent position. With a targeted physician investment in our western area, we aim for a patient list of 1,100 for permanently employed primary care physicians, based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. The position is a permanent employment with start date by agreement.
Job Responsibilities
As a physician with us, you will assess, plan, treat, and follow up on your patients with interventions such as medication prescription, certificate writing, and referral management. In addition to daily work, several forms of lifestyle-oriented preventive work are ongoing. Supervision of physicians in training may also occur.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who:
• Is a licensed physician
• Has excellent Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Has a B driver's license
