About the Job As a specialist physician and medical director in the emergency department, you will work clinically with patients and provide support and guidance to other staff groups and functions. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and patient safety of emergency care. Our operation includes an Emergency Ward in Karlshamn and ambulance services in Blekinge. You will contribute with your deep knowledge and strong will to continuously improve the experience for every visitor and employee at the Emergency Department. We now aim to develop pre-hospital medical support in various ways to further optimize patient flow and patient safety. You will be responsible for clinical leadership and management of the acute patient flow. You will work closely with other healthcare personnel to quickly and effectively make decisions in acute situations. You will have significant influence on developing routines and workflows at the department.
