Role as Specialist Physician/Consultant
As a specialist physician/consultant with us, you will work on assessment, investigation, and treatment tasks with children and adolescents aged 0-17 years and their families. The work is conducted in interdisciplinary teams around each patient, which include psychologists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists.
Work at the clinic is conducted on-site during regular hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will also participate in the clinic's on-call and standby duties that occur in the evenings, nights, and weekends.
Your Future Workplace
The clinic in Nässjö is located at Nässjö Health Center, approximately a 20-minute walk from the central station. We operate in two interdisciplinary teams based on geographical division, which allows us to offer varied tasks and patient groups. The teams consist of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and medical administrators. We have around 30 employees.

Your Profile
For this position, specialist competence in child and adolescent psychiatry is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Since the job may involve travel, you also need to have a valid B driver's license.

You are resilient under stress and can handle the unpredictability that the job sometimes entails. You work independently but also thrive in collaboration with others, and you have a clear and attentive communication style in both speech and writing. You have the ability to work according to the Region's guidelines with a patient-centered focus, take responsibility for your assignments, and contribute to facilitating the next steps in the care chain.
