About this role
About Us
Are you interested in working in a flexible team with a patient-focused approach? Would you like to help establish the Mobile Local Healthcare Team in Blekinge? We are seeking a specialist physician for the Mobile Local Healthcare Team in western Blekinge.
We will launch the Mobile Local Healthcare Team in western Blekinge during spring 2026. Here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients to ensure safe and comprehensive care.
The Mobile Local Healthcare Team in Blekinge belongs to the Regional Community Care base unit in the Proximity Care area, together with the Palliative Medicine Section, Eastern Medical Car, Geriatrics, and Wound Care Center. Currently, there are approximately 90 employees in the base unit.
The Mobile Local Healthcare Team aims to strengthen existing healthcare providers and offers safe and accessible care for patients through medical interventions at home instead of in hospitals. The team serves as a coordinating hub and can assess, plan, prescribe, and perform interventions. Care is provided based on each patient's individual needs, with the purpose of improving support for the most seriously ill elderly and individuals requiring health and medical interventions. The goal is to offer medical care in the right place, at the right care level, and with the right expertise as close to the patient as possible.
About the Job
We offer you a developing and exciting work environment where you become part of a team. The team consists of physicians, nurses, and medical secretaries, and is based in physical facilities shared with Palliative Medicine and Wound Care Center at the Karlshamn hospital.
As a physician with us, you will perform medical assessments and interventions in patients' homes, short-term care facilities, or special care homes. You will lead and actively participate in patient care planning together with other professionals and in close collaboration with primary care centers, hospital clinics, and municipal healthcare services.
The Local Healthcare Team also has close cooperation with the palliative medicine section. Currently, the team will work on weekdays during daytime hours.
We offer you a workplace with varied workdays, development opportunities, and participation in the ongoing transformation towards more compassionate and proximity-based care in Blekinge.
Would you like to be part of our team and work together with us?
