About this role

Are you a specialist doctor looking to enhance care for children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disabilities at our clinic in Mörby/Danderyd? BUP Neuropsychiatry is tasked with conducting neuropsychiatric assessments and providing pharmacological treatment for ADHD. At the clinic, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries collaborate to deliver accessible, equitable, efficient, and patient-centered care in new, well-planned facilities near Mörby Centrum. Job Description As a specialist doctor with us, your main responsibilities will include neuropsychiatric assessments and pharmacological treatment of children and adolescents according to national guidelines and BUP's process maps. Assessments and pharmacological treatments are conducted in close collaboration with our experienced psychologists and nurses. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing development by participating in the organization’s continuous improvement efforts. Collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers and partners both within and outside the organization is an important part of the development work. There is an opportunity for remote work with administrative tasks/remote contacts if the operations allow, equivalent to about one day a week. As a specialist doctor within BUP Stockholm, you will be part of the on-call line, following a standard introduction. Qualifications You should be a specialist doctor in child and adolescent psychiatry, or alternatively a pediatrician or specialist in general psychiatry with experience in the target group of children and adolescents. Experience in child psychiatric outpatient care or pediatric clinics is an advantage, as is familiarity with evidence-based and patient-centered work. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 within Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County healthcare region, which is a provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we at BUP have approximately 1,000 employees who meet over 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families each year. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County healthcare region: - A background check will be conducted prior to hiring according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
