Aleris Rehab Station has been providing neurological rehabilitation since 1987, primarily for individuals with spinal cord injuries, MS, stroke, and Parkinson's disease. We also have agreements for patients with orthopedic injuries, multi-trauma, and advanced wound issues. Aleris Rehab Station actively collaborates with national and international actors in rehabilitation and research. We have an active R&D department with several exciting ongoing projects and numerous PhD staff members.
At Aleris Rehab Station, the medical team consists of senior physicians with extensive experience in both the field and rehabilitation medicine. We also have junior doctors and several resident physicians.
The Spinal Clinic is an outpatient specialist clinic for adults with spinal cord injuries as well as adults with spina bifida in the Stockholm Region. The clinic has over 1500 registered patients who are offered outpatient rehabilitation and regular medical follow-up. The clinic employs several nurses and paramedics with extensive knowledge of spinal cord injuries, along with several specialist consultants. We continuously work towards good collaboration with specialists who have expertise in issues relevant to spinal cord injuries.
The Role
The position includes standard outpatient work as well as admissions and discharges in day rehabilitation, team rounds, referral assessments, supervision of resident physicians, and internal training. You will also have ongoing collaboration with several specialist consultants such as neuro-urologists, pain specialists, hand surgeons, plastic surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and neurosurgeons. The position is scheduled for weekdays during daytime hours.

About You
• We are looking for a specialist physician in rehabilitation medicine, neurology, general medicine, or a related specialty.
• We prefer that you have several years of experience in rehabilitation work, preferably with a focus on neurorehabilitation.
• Experience in supervising and teaching colleagues is an asset, as we see learning and knowledge sharing as a natural part of the work.
• As a physician, you play an important role in the team, and we therefore expect you to appreciate teamwork. We value engagement, collaboration skills, and flexibility—it's important to take responsibility, contribute ideas, and be part of the team.
• If you have experience or interest in research and development (R&D), that is a significant plus. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your desire to work with us to elevate our rehabilitation to new heights.
