The department is responsible for anesthesia, postoperative care, and pain management, as well as for the medical intensive care unit with three beds, equipped with modern medical technology. The operation is characterized by high medical competence, strong commitment, and a clear focus on patient safety and quality in all aspects of care. **JOB DESCRIPTION**
The work is carried out in close collaboration with operating room nurses, nursing assistants, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in a well-functioning team focused on quality and patient safety.
As a specialist physician with us, you will:
• be responsible for anesthesiological assessment, planning, and execution of anesthesia for elective surgeries
• participate in intensive care work as well as in postoperative care and pain management
• contribute to the development of the department and participate in quality and improvement work
• mentor and teach colleagues and students.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
We are looking for someone who is flexible with a solution-oriented approach. You are a problem solver with the ability to see the big picture and can quickly identify connections. In the role of specialist physician, you should:
• be a licensed physician with specialist competence in anesthesia and intensive care
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
For this position, experience in elective surgery, intensive care, and day surgery is an advantage.
