About this role

Make a difference. Every day. Are you a specialist physician motivated by building good relationships and sharing your knowledge and experience? Do you want a job where high quality, patient safety, and continuity are a given? Then you should apply for the position with us! At the Näsby health center, you will have the opportunity to contribute your specific expertise, and you will have a reasonable workload with 1,100 listed individuals per full-time position. There are excellent development opportunities, and you will have dedicated development time included in your schedule. We are a stable and well-functioning unit with approximately 10,400 listed patients, operating in an area that uniquely combines multicultural urban life with the Skåne countryside. The medical practice includes six specialists in general medicine, two residents, two interns, and one junior doctor. We are a multifaceted operation with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. There are also specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and we offer targeted health consultations. We have a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, an elderly care clinic, a lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone consultations and primary care triage, the initial handling is smoothly managed by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. The operation is dynamically evolving through excellent collaboration between employees and management. Collegial dialogue is highly prioritized with regular physician meetings. Supervision and educational matters are close to our hearts, and we have undergone a SPUR inspection with the best results. Are you the one who will complete our team? JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a specialist physician, you will have the opportunity to work across the entire field of general medicine. You will have a limited list responsibility (1,100 individuals per full-time position) where you can follow your patients over time. You will have both acute and scheduled consultations as well as assessment patients. The work involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages with all types of health issues that do not require specialized healthcare resources. We also list individuals under the residents and gradually increase the list. For patients with chronic conditions and in rehabilitation matters, you will work in a team around the patient, where our rehabilitation coordinator is a natural support in the rehabilitation process. Since we prioritize supervision, you will also have the stimulating task of being the "question doctor" each week, providing knowledge support to training doctors and medical students. To promote good development opportunities, you will also have development time included in your schedule. Administrative time is allocated, and you determine how you want to structure your schedule regarding this. The goal is to minimize administration for the doctors in the unit. QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in general medicine. Furthermore, you must have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have supervisory training and/or experience supervising residents and interns. We also appreciate generalist competence along with relational skills. We are looking for someone who, together with us, wants to develop primary care. We highly value good collaboration skills. We prioritize the well-being of our staff and work with individual solutions to create a position that suits you. Please feel free to express personal preferences in your application or during the interview. In this recruitment, we apply continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application today!
