We are a medium-sized healthcare center and part of SLSO, Stockholm County Healthcare Region. Barkarby Healthcare Center is a very pleasant workplace with 25 permanent employees. Currently, we have five general practice specialists, four residents, one junior doctor, and other highly experienced staff. The healthcare center is located a few minutes' walk from Barkarby commuter station. It takes about 15 minutes to Stockholm Central Station. Parking is also available within walking distance. In addition to the doctor's clinic, we offer the following services: asthma/COPD, district nurse, diabetes, hypertension, memory, and lifestyle clinics. The healthcare center provides home healthcare, laboratory, counseling, and psychological services. We have short decision-making paths and a close, unpretentious dialogue in daily work. This enhances patient safety with the patient in focus. We aim to be at the forefront of new working methods and digitalization to create opportunities to continuously develop our patient care. As a general practice specialist, you have the opportunity to work from home one day/week with video meetings in Always Open when the operation allows. You will be responsible for your areas of responsibility, which you help develop. Competence development is offered based on needs and by agreement. The work requires broad competence and independence. You will mentor residents and junior doctors, supervise medical students, and support other professional categories in medical assessments. Qualifications: Specialist physician in general practice with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Experience in Region Stockholm as a general practitioner and the TakeCare journal system is meritorious. Employment Type: Permanent position. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday.
