We are Akademiska Hospital – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a county hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer healthcare to two million people in Central Sweden. Something is always happening here – a new life is born, a grandmother is operated on, a colleague is celebrated as a hero. Our Operations
Within the Imaging and Functional Medicine Center (BFC), we currently have over 300 employees. We perform examinations using X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), nuclear medicine, and intervention. Advanced interventional diagnostics and treatment are also performed here. With several professorships and associate professorships connected to the operation, there are great opportunities for research, development, and supervision. We also conduct extensive training at the clinic.
Personal interaction is the focus, along with our core values of humility, skill, and long-term perspective. These permeate daily work and describe how we relate to each other, both with patients and colleagues.
We are now seeking a Specialist Physician/Assistant Senior Physician/Senior Physician for the Molecular Imaging Section at the Imaging and Functional Medicine Center.
The section conducts diagnostics with gamma camera nuclear medicine methods, PET/CT, PET/MR, CT, and MR, serving most hospital clinics with a slight emphasis on oncological diagnostics.
