Piteå Health Center is a medium-sized and pleasant health center located in the heart of Piteå, with approximately 10,000 registered patients. We are a team of about 45 dedicated employees who are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague! Our team will greet you with open arms. It consists of general practitioners, residents, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, psychotherapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We work together and share responsibility for the team’s patients in close and interdisciplinary collaboration.
We are seeking an engaged, knowledgeable, and positive specialist in general medicine or a licensed physician authorized to practice within the Swedish healthcare system, with a genuine interest in general medicine. You should have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale, as well as good computer skills. Previous experience in primary care is preferred. A valid driver’s license (B) is required.

What you will work with: You will be part of the center's various patient receptions and, in close collaboration with your team members, create continuity and a common thread for your patient group. You will practice your profession and contribute to good and close care based on your expertise. The position includes some on-call duties and primary care emergency services.

Information about the position: The position is a permanent full-time/part-time employment, with working hours scheduled during the day, and your placement will be at Piteå Health Center. Start date is according to agreement. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
