About us At Närhälsan Bengtsfors Health Center, we are a wonderful team that cares for one another and aims to create good conditions for a sustainable work environment together. We also have a CBT therapist, psychotherapist, psychologist, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Adjacent to the health center, there are maternal healthcare, youth clinics, and rehabilitation services. You will work with outpatient care in primary care. As a geriatrician, you will work with patients enrolled in municipal primary care and collaborate closely with the municipality's nurses. You and your colleagues will form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming atmosphere. The role also includes supervising ST and AT doctors as well as medical students, which is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, such as continuous education for ten days per year. About you You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine, geriatrics, or internal medicine, with the authorization to practice within the Swedish healthcare system. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at a minimum level of C1 according to the Council of Europe's language scale is a requirement for the position. We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the organization. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach.
