Your Daily Tasks - Support projects and contribute to sustainable solutions that make an impact. We are looking for an Environmental Specialist to join our project department and project support unit. In this role, you will be an important advisor and support in our projects, participating in the assessment of environmental aspects and ensuring compliance with both legislation and the organization's requirements. You will, among other things, provide client support, quality-assure environmental investigations and assessments, participate in review meetings with consultants, and contribute to the development of the department’s routines and design guidelines. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in internal and external networks that enhance both your skills and the organization’s environmental efforts. Here, you will combine knowledge with practical environmental work and be part of shaping sustainable projects that truly matter. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a higher education in natural sciences or environmental studies, or equivalent experience from previous employment. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of environmental law and chemistry. A valid Class B driver's license is required. Experience We would prefer that you have prior work experience demonstrating: • Familiarity and experience in reading, interpreting, and applying legislation. • Strong knowledge of Swedish environmental legislation. • Experience in construction and civil engineering projects. Meritorious • Experience with construction product assessment systems. • Previous work in environmental coordination within the construction sector. • Documented experience of at least seven years in comparable tasks. About the Employment The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a position of war readiness. The workplace is in Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class.
