We are now looking for a general practitioner who wants to join us on our continued journey. As a specialist with us, you will work independently while closely collaborating with our interdisciplinary team. The team consists of general practitioners, residents, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and administrative staff. We also have a specialist-trained diabetes nurse and an asthma/COPD nurse. Our teams conduct rounds twice a week, and you will be part of a physician group with a strong sense of teamwork.
We are responsible for a special housing facility for the elderly (SÄBO), which we round once a week. We also follow up on our HSV patients (completely dependent care) with rounds once a week. Additionally, we are an active part of the family center Tellus through our Child Health Center (BVC).
We have made significant progress in our digital development and offer a modern and flexible work environment, with personal laptops and mobile phones, opportunities for remote work, speech recognition, and digital patient meetings.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a specialist in general medicine, you will be responsible for regular consultations, including both urgent and planned visits, as well as patient investigations. In your work, you will closely collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including municipal nurses and hospitals, where you participate in SIP meetings and home visits, and have access to a Mobile Care Team. You will play an active role in mentoring future specialist colleagues and will have your own patient list where you are the responsible physician, allowing for in-depth knowledge of your patients and ensuring high continuity of care. Each week, time is allocated for both internal and external professional development as well as for individual deepening in specific areas of interest within primary care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who are a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. We are looking for someone who has completed their specialist training in general medicine. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale is a requirement for the position. Previous experience working in primary care and in development and mentoring roles is an advantage.
