Östermalm Healthcare Center is located in the city center of Kristianstad, situated in older hospital buildings with delightful charm. There are excellent commuting options by train and bus, with Skåne Express 1, 3, and 4 stopping right outside the healthcare center. Kristianstad is located in a scenic area with numerous opportunities for outdoor activities.
We operate several specialized clinics for doctors, nurses, counselors, nursing assistants, psychologists, and dietitians. We have specialized clinics for asthma, diabetes, mental health, memory care, and elderly care. Our highly functional child healthcare center (BVC) includes both pediatricians and general practitioners offering high-quality care and support to children and families.
At our healthcare center, we have approximately 34 employees with a wonderful work environment where we enjoy working together and care for each other and our approximately 8,550 listed patients. Professional development is important for all our professional groups. We are responsible for five residential care facilities and maintain excellent collaboration with municipal nurses, our elderly care nurse, and specialized nursing assistants.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a specialist physician who wants a varied and meaningful work experience. Here, you will primarily work in our clinic, handling both scheduled and urgent appointments. You will be responsible for providing safe, quality care and contribute to the overall team by mentoring students and colleagues.
We actively drive change to create new, efficient working methods, and you will be a crucial part of our continued development. You will have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, or other specialized fields that match both your interests and the organization's needs.
We work in teams, and this recruitment is an expansion of our unit. We have many medical residents, making mentoring experience especially welcome, with internal mentoring across various professional groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome licensed physicians authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare. We are seeking candidates who have completed specialist training in general medicine. Swedish language skills at a minimum C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Previous experience in primary care and development/mentoring work is considered advantageous.
