Residents of Blekinge who fall ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller locations, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care provider where teamwork and patient needs are at the center. Samariten Health Center has approximately 17,000 registered patients and is part of Health Choice. We are about 60 employees from various professions working together. About the Job As a specialist in general medicine at Samaritens Health Center, you will work broadly within the field of general medicine, handling both acute and planned consultations. Samaritens Health Center is currently in a development phase where we are reviewing how we can improve our working methods. We want a modern health center where we work in teams to meet the needs of citizens. We aim to create a good working environment where we can thrive and be satisfied with the work we do together. Would you like to be involved in creating a workplace that meets the future of healthcare? We operate based on RAK, "right use of competence." We also plan to work in teams moving forward for better continuity and security for patients and other staff. This will allow for participation in planning and developing a well-functioning and sustainable reception process with varied tasks. We also intend to enhance our digital healthcare meetings. If you have supervisor training, you will also have the opportunity to mentor students and training doctors within our organization, and you will be offered development opportunities regarding the future tasks and operations of general medicine. There is an opportunity to participate in continuing education activities, jointly for the entire county, approximately once a month. Other professional development within the profession is also prioritized at our workplace, as well as internal training in various forms. We have various nurse-based specialist clinics: child health, diabetes nurses, asthma/COPD nurses, incontinence nurses, geriatric clinics, lifestyle clinics, and wound care nurses. Samariten also has a rehabilitation coordinator. The health center has a branch with doctors in Mörrum and a branch with child health care in Asarum. About You We are looking for someone who wants to work in primary care and be part of our wonderful team. We seek someone with a Swedish medical license and specialist competence in general medicine. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good climate. Experience working at a health center is a valuable merit. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate and have good initiative and organizational skills. You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
