About the Role As sous chef, you are an operational leader who keeps the daily kitchen operations running smoothly. You plan the week's operations, lead shifts, and ensure that routines are followed. During service, you are present, coach the team, and create calm even when the pace is high. You contribute to menu development, inventory, and orders, and serve as an important link between the head chef and the cooks. Your Responsibilities • Lead shifts and be actively involved in production during service. • Plan the week's work, organize prep, and ensure orders and stock are managed. • Coach and develop the cooks, creating structure and a peaceful work environment. • Contribute to menu work and quality assurance. • Communicate clearly and build a respectful, positive work environment.
