Situated just 150 meters from Linköping Central Station, Scandic Frimurarehotellet is a hotel where tradition and future meet. Located next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings, our modern and relaxed hotel has a history dating back to 1912. The hotel is the largest in Östergötland and hosts everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets. We are nearly one hundred employees with origins from across the world, just like our guests. Being a large hotel with three Scandic hotels in Linköping under shared management provides excellent development opportunities for our staff. We are now seeking a sous chef responsible for daily operations at Scandic Frimurarehotellet. Regardless of why guests come to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. As sous chef, you will act as host together with the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience. What does the sous chef role involve? You will have a crucial task in ensuring a world-class guest experience in our food and beverage environments. Your primary responsibilities include planning, preparing, and cooking food, as well as presenting it in an appealing manner. You will also support the head chef as needed and assist teams in other hotel areas. Who are you? To suit this role, you need a passion for food and be attentive to details and individual guest needs. You appreciate order and organization, both in your own and colleagues' work, all to provide our guests with an amazing dining experience. For this position, we want you to have completed chef training or acquired equivalent competence. Personal qualities and attitude are most important in this recruitment. You need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and overall results. It's also crucial that you can communicate excellent hospitality to hotel guests. Job Information: This is a full-time, permanent employment position. We apply a probationary period. Your direct manager will be our kitchen and breakfast manager. The position involves day and evening shifts during weekdays and weekends. Start date by agreement. We only accept applications through our website.
