About the Role
As Sous Chef, you are the head chef's right-hand and a key person in the daily kitchen operations. You are responsible for leading and motivating the team, ensuring high quality at every stage, and contributing to a safe and inspiring work environment. The role also involves stepping in and taking full responsibility when the head chef is not present.
Responsibilities
• Actively participate in daily kitchen work
• Menu planning and development together with the head chef
• Responsibility for orders, raw material management, and waste control
• Lead, coach, and develop kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and quality routines according to current standards
We are looking for someone who
• Has several years of experience in professional kitchen, preferably in a leadership role
• Is a natural leader who can motivate and engage others
• Is passionate about cooking, innovation, and sustainable ingredients
• Is stress-resistant, organized, and solution-oriented
• Has good knowledge of hygiene routines and kitchen economics
