About this role
In the ambulance service of Region Norrbotten, approximately 250 dedicated employees work around the clock, year-round, in both urban and rural areas. Our region has 15 ambulance stations, and we have everything from road ambulances to ambulance helicopters on standby. We seek individuals who are positive, attentive, curious, and enjoy working with people. A valid B driver's license is required for both roles.
What you will work with
In the ambulance service, you will work around the clock with pre-hospital emergency care, encountering patients of all ages who have suffered from acute illness or injury. You will work in an environment where every intervention counts and where you meet people in various ages and situations. There are opportunities to develop and learn from others. We are looking for summer workers for the following positions:
• Ambulance Care Assistant
• Ambulance Nurse
We offer summer jobs in several locations: Arvidsjaur, Arjeplog, Boden, Gällivare, Haparanda, Jokkmokk, Kalix, Kiruna, Luleå, Pajala, Piteå, Vittangi, Älvsbyn, Överkalix, Övertorneå. In your application, you will have the opportunity to specify which position you prefer.

Information about the position
The positions are summer vacancies, either full-time or part-time, and working hours are determined by the relevant operations. The summer job period is from June 1 to August 31, with the possibility to start later or earlier depending on what suits the operations best.
The recruitment process includes interviews and reference checks, as well as physical tests, lifting tests, and driving tests. You will receive more information about these components when invited for an interview. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
