For summer 2026, we welcome you to a summer job at one of our facilities at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, or Värnamo Hospital. The Nursing Assistant Role
As a nursing assistant with us, you'll experience excitement and variation in your daily work, as the X-ray department is a high-tech unit where you contribute to important patient interactions. Administrative tasks may also be part of the role.
The nursing assistant position offers diverse tasks, including working at the X-ray lab with a radiology nurse, in reception, or in our media unit handling image processing. Our X-ray department has excellent teamwork across all professional groups, and the more you learn, the more interesting and enjoyable it becomes.
We need temporary staff throughout the entire summer job period, from June 8th to August 23rd.

All X-ray departments in the county perform examinations in conventional X-ray, computed tomography, fluoroscopy, MRI, and ultrasound. What makes each department special:
- Eksjö: X-ray at Höglandssjukhuset, with additional radiology services in Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda.
- Jönköping: Länssjukhuset Ryhov is our largest hospital, offering angio/interventions and nuclear medicine.
- Värnamo: Värnamo Hospital is the county's smallest hospital, but with the same great commitment and cutting-edge equipment.
- Mammography: A dedicated unit at Länssjukhuset Ryhov focusing on breast cancer diagnostics.
Your Profile
You are a trained nursing assistant or have completed at least two semesters of radiology nursing or medical programs. It's crucial that you have a positive approach to both tasks and colleagues – together we create high patient safety and good accessibility with the patient in focus. You are curious and want to learn new things, and you contribute to a joyful workplace where we thrive together. Personal suitability is highly important.
