The Role of Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking summer temporary staff for Orthopedic Care Unit B. Patients with acute orthopedic injuries and diseases requiring treatment are cared for here around the clock. As a summer employee at Care Unit B, you will work on optimization in connection with surgery. This means you are responsible for basic care before and after the procedure. You will actively work on rehabilitation together with the patient, which includes areas such as mobilization, nutrition, and preventive work to prevent pressure ulcers and care-related infections. Your work hours will be during the day, evening, and weekends. Summer jobs are limited full-time employment. We need temporary nursing assistants/care assistants during weeks 25-32. It is an advantage if you can work many – or all – of the weeks. We also appreciate if you can shadow staff during the spring. Your Future Workplace Värnamo Hospital has repeatedly been at the absolute top – and even in first place – in Dagens Medicin's ranking of Sweden's best mid-sized hospitals. The Orthopedic Clinic offers orthopedic surgical care with high patient safety and good accessibility. To thrive with us, you need to be interested in orthopedics and enjoy working in a team. We value commitment and a positive attitude. You are attentive and accommodating in your approach. We want you to take responsibility for your tasks, communicate clearly, and be innovative and proactive. Flexibility is also important – a lot can happen during a workday, and you may need to quickly change your perspective and approach. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
