Role as Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant

As a Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant on Orthopedic Care Unit A, you will be responsible for basic care pre- and post-surgery. You actively work on rehabilitation with patients, including areas such as mobilization, nutrition, and preventive work to prevent pressure ulcers and care-related infections. Documentation in the Cosmic journal system is also part of the job.
The care unit consists of two departments. Department A treats patients with acute orthopedic injuries and diseases requiring treatment, and this department remains open during the summer. Department B treats patients undergoing planned surgeries and will be closed during the summer.
The position is a time-limited full-time employment with day, evening, and weekend shifts. We need summer relief nursing assistants/care assistants for weeks 25-32. It is advantageous if you can work many - or all - of these weeks. Region-wide introduction occurs beyond these weeks, and we appreciate if you can also shadow during spring. You will receive salary during both introduction and shadowing.

Your Profile
We are seeking candidates who are trained nursing assistants or will complete training by June 2026. Alternatively, nursing or medical students who have completed at least three semesters (individual assessment possible earlier).
Orthopedics is what we love, and we seek someone curious about the specialty and comfortable with varied work. Personally, you are humble, meticulous, structured, and take responsibility for your tasks. It's also important that you have a positive and professional approach to your work and colleagues. Personal suitability is heavily weighted.
