Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant Role
As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you'll work with the care of acutely ill patients. The work is diverse with varied patient flow and significant personal responsibility. Focus is on patient care, monitoring patient health status, vital parameter checks, sample collection, and patient transfers. You'll work three-shift rotations covering day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Your Future Workplace
The Emergency Department handles acute medical conditions and accidents that cannot be treated at primary care clinics. We are open 24/7, every day of the year. Our operation has a broad and varied mandate in close collaboration with other hospital clinics, with tasks ranging from individual patient interactions to being an actor in the hospital's disaster organization. Approximately 50 people work in our clinic.

Your Profile
We are seeking nursing assistants, or students of nursing or medicine. We prefer candidates who have completed at least three semesters, but individual assessments can be made earlier. We want someone with a strong interest in emergency healthcare and a willingness to learn. To facilitate summer scheduling, we appreciate candidates who can work at least 6-8 consecutive weeks during the summer. Orientation occurs in addition to these weeks.

You'll take initiative, be responsible for your tasks and the unit's overall performance.
