Role as Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant
As a nursing assistant at the emergency clinic, you can work either in the emergency room or the Acute Care Ward (AVA)
At the Acute Care Ward, we care for acutely ill patients in surgical and medical specialties. You will be responsible for general care and work on nursing tasks in medicine, surgery, and the Sobering Unit. The work is varied and care-intensive, with rapid patient flow and significant personal responsibility. Focus is placed on nursing, monitoring, vital parameter checks, observation, sample taking, and more.
In the emergency room, we encounter patients from all specialties such as surgery, medicine, and orthopedics. You will work with patients who may have time-critical conditions requiring quick focus shifts. Tasks include sample taking and ECG examinations. Other duties involve prioritizing patients with nurses.
We work in teams and receive new patients and challenges around the clock. We meet patients of all ages and see each individual as unique. We always strive for good, safe care and professional treatment.
