Role as Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant/Nurse
The Psychiatric Inpatient Ward has 15 care beds + 1 place for SI - voluntary admission for patients 18 years and older with acute mental health issues in general psychiatry and psychosis care.
With us, you'll have a varied summer job. You'll meet patients with psychiatric conditions such as psychotic disorders, personality disorders, affective disorders, and neuropsychiatric variations. You'll be responsible for ensuring daily conversations with care staff, and activities like group and individual walks are part of the care. We work with patient advocacy, activities, and other ongoing care tasks for our patients.
Summer jobs are time-limited full-time positions. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Night shifts may also be available. We need temporary nursing assistants/care assistants during weeks 24-32. To ensure the best summer planning, we prefer candidates who can work at least four consecutive weeks during the summer. Introduction occurs in addition to these weeks.

At the Psychiatric Acute Care Ward, you'll work alongside other nursing assistants, nurses, social workers, and teachers. Our ward is collectively responsible for compulsory care under the Psychiatric Care Act. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you'll be involved in patient condition observation and may participate in compulsory interventions in accordance with the law.
Your Profile
We're seeking someone who is a trained nurse assistant, care assistant, or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer candidates who have completed their third semester, but individual assessments can be made earlier. You must be over 18 to be eligible.
