Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic, County Hospital Ryhov
Do you want to make a real difference this summer? At our rehabilitation medicine clinic, you'll help people find their way back to life after injury or illness – together with a dedicated team that supports both patients and each other.
Your Role
As a nursing assistant/nurse aide, you'll become an important part of our multidisciplinary team. You'll work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors to provide each patient with the best conditions to achieve their goals.
The work involves nursing and rehabilitation interventions, such as:
• Patient care in rehabilitation
• Responsible for nursing issues in team work
• Participating in planning of coordination and care interventions
• Supporting patients and their families in the rehabilitation process
• Follow-up of care plans
• Medical tasks, such as sample collection

Work hours will be during day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Your Future Workplace
The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic is a modern workplace focused on collaboration and learning. We work in teams with different professional roles to provide the best possible care and support for patients needing rehabilitation. Our primary diagnosis groups are neurological injuries and diseases, but other diagnosis groups are also treated. Here, you'll have the opportunity to follow a patient's development over time and see how interventions make a difference. We work with patients 18 years and older who need team-based rehabilitation interventions.
With us, you'll have the opportunity for longer patient contact, good continuity, and the chance to follow the patient's progress in returning to life with changed circumstances. On the ward, the work involves rehabilitative care where you support and motivate the patient towards increased independence. You'll collaborate with colleagues in an engaged team and have the opportunity to follow the patient's development over time. Our focus is on training, care, and returning to everyday life.
The operation is region-wide and located in Jönköping, Nässjö, and Värnamo. Organizationally, the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic belongs to the Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Diagnostics area of Region Jönköping County.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone trained as a nurse aide, or a student studying to become a nurse or doctor who has completed the 4th semester before the internship begins. We also welcome applications from students studying physiotherapy or occupational therapy who have completed the 4th semester. An interest in rehabilitation and a holistic view of the patient is a significant plus.
Teamwork is one of our foundations, so we're particularly interested in candidates who enjoy collaboration. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. To ensure the best summer planning, we look favorably on candidates who can work full-time and commit to 8 weeks or at least 4 consecutive weeks during the summer. Orientation will be provided in addition to these weeks.
